Wow and THANK YOU!
Our Grand Re-Opening Party was amazing thanks to YOU! We were blown away by the turnout and so very thankful to all of you who came to see the unveiling of our new synthetic rink. Once the kids got started sliding, they didn't want to get off!
So many people stepped up when asked to make this day a great success. Our newly renovated Unplug and Play outdoor area was able to happen because of the Upper's Winter Fantasy of Lights. The Upper Sandusky Lions Club, Carl R Harris Electric, Bookie's Lawn Service, and Shoot-A-Way played a big role in helping. The Upper Sandusky Fire Department pulled the tarp off for our big reveal. Gottfried Entertainment LLC brought a huge bounce house and axe throwing game that the kids loved. The Star Kids also held a performance. And the Wyandot Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting.
A Taste of Upper, which showcased food from local merchants and restaurants was another highlight of the day. Food was provided from A & A Grocery, AJ's Heavenly Pizza, Corner Inn, Don Tomasso's, Fort 88, Jayme's Place, Save A Lot, and Sweet Seasons.
The Upper Sandusky Library also held a popup library and Jessica Hetzel kicked off the Pampered Chef fundraiser for The HUB.
Other donors and volunteers include Wyandot Memorial Hospital, National Lime and Stone, Shane Adams, Nelson and Etta Dilley, Tim and Patty Wood, Tad Day, skaters from Zoomers in Marion, Ron Bucher, Brent and Kelly Fahle, Oney Family Painting, Becky Ehrman, Ginny Blankenship, Eva DeZurick, Braxton Swartz, and Dom Cusick.
If we inadvertently missed someone, we apologize, but we thank you!
We are so thankful for everyone who has stepped up to help at The HUB. Thank you to those who have donated money, supplies, and time. We are so blessed to live in a community like Wyandot County.
